About this house rental

Wake up to views of the iconic Lanterman’s Mill and Falls, directly across the street from this charming, pet-friendly 1930s English Tudor. Set at the edge of Mill Creek Park, one of the largest urban parks in the country, the home puts miles of hiking, running, and biking trails right outside your door, perfect for morning walks with your dog.

Inside, you’ll find two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a fully updated, equipped kitchen. Gather in the dining room or warm up by the gas log fireplace after a day on the trails. An attached garage with a security system adds convenience and peace of mind. Please note this is a two-story home with stairs.

When you’re ready to explore beyond the park, downtown Youngstown is a short Uber ride away, with a growing lineup of restaurants, nightlife, and cultural festivals. Youngstown State University is close by too, making this a great home base for campus visits, graduations, and game weekends.

I fell in love with this spot because it’s unlike anywhere else in Youngstown. Step outside and you’re facing Lanterman’s Mill and Falls, the heart of Mill Creek Park, with its historic gristmill, covered bridge, and the sound of the falls nearby. Miles of wooded trails start right across the street, and Fellows Riverside Gardens is a short drive within the park. It feels like a peaceful retreat in nature, yet downtown’s restaurants, festivals, and Youngstown State University are just minutes away.

Outside, enjoy a lovely yard and garden, plus a secret patio tucked away for complete privacy. It’s the perfect spot for morning coffee or a quiet evening after exploring the park.

Well-behaved pets are welcome (maximum [2]; a pet fee applies). Please list your pets when booking.

Everything was brilliant! House was lovely (minus one of the dining room chairs being a little wobbly); upstairs lower guest bed needs fixed/propped up, and the kitchen could use some cooking spray of some sort. House was sufficiently warm the entire stay. I found that the alarm system worked as intended if you pressed the action and then entered the code as opposed to the opposite. We also added our contribution to the photos of the house lol. Your mystery mantelpiece is watching it closely. That’s all from us, and maybe we’ll be back next year!

The house offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, situated in a fantastic location. I appreciated the nearby walking trails accessible right outside the property. Please note that the bathroom and bedrooms are located upstairs, so ensure that stairs are manageable for your needs.

What a wonderful place to stay in Youngstown. This house is loaded with charm and modern conveniences. A spacious living room with working fireplace, comfortable furniture and tv make it a great gathering place, just off a quaint and beautifully decorated dining room. The kitchen has all the modern conveniences and having everything available to make coffee is a huge plus! Parking is in a garage, there is a cozy little patio right off the kitchen, and although it sits on a busy street, it's not overly noisy. A wonderful benefit is having this property literally in Mill Creek Park. You can see the top of Lanterman's Mill from the front yard and is within easy walking distance. Can't recommend this cute home enough. We were back and forth to YSU campus and it was a quick, easy 12 minute drive. Great place to stay and enjoy YTown.
