About this house rental
Surrounded on three sides by over three thousand of acres of open space and set on a knoll over it’s own ( only for this home) sandy beach the house has view across the quiet ( no motor craft allowed) clear waters of 150 acre Wincheck Pond. Excellent swimming off the gradual incline of the beach . Enjoy kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding with the provided water craft off the 850 feet of the property's water frontage. Hiking is beautiful with Ell Pond, the only location in RI to be on the National Register of Natural Places ,1/2 mile from the house .1/2 hour from the Westerly or Charlestown beaches , Mystic Seaport , Mystic Aquarium , Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun .
It is highly recommended that you purchase trip insurance as bookings are non-refundable. Maximum 7 person overnight occupancy with no more than 10people allowed on the property at one time without making prior arrangements.

An unbelievable vacation rental, it almost feels like a movie set. Bill has clearly put so much love and care into creating a perfect, peaceful paradise, and he tops it all off with access to so many great amenities. We used the canoe, went fishing, and were swimming in the clear warm water every chance we got. The sand is clean and soft, and the shallow water is perfect for small kids. The house itself is very well appointed. The kitchen is filled with high quality cookware. The beds were super comfortable. Everything was perfect. 10/10.

Even better in person. We had a wonderful time enjoying the lake - and all of the toys that came with it. The outdoor shower hit the spot after a long day of water fun. Everything was immaculate- and the AC was exactly what we needed to sleep soundly in this 90 degree plus weather.

It was the perfect setting! It was so nice to be in a spot where we didn't need to go somewhere else to have fun. The canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, beach, and dock were perfect. It occupied the small children just as easily as it did the parents. The large windows made it so easy to catch the gorgeous sunrise and sunset.The outdoor shower (that has a hot tap!) was perfect for the getting the kids cleaned off for the day.We'll definitely be back!
