About this apartment rental
Situated in Draycott Place, a charming period street in Old Chelsea which is steps away from Sloane Square and the King's Road. Walking distance to shops of Knightsbridge and the museums of South Kensington this apartment is owned by an interior designer.
The apartment features one master bedroom with a UK King/USA Queen bed (5' x 6' 8") with an ensuite bathroom with a tub (but no shower). There is a second bathroom with a full walk-in shower (but no tub). A second smaller guest room can be made up with either one or two single beds -- though it is tight with two beds (more suitable for kids to share). And, in a pinch, one can also sleep a fifth person on the living room sofa, the base of which is an upholstered mattress -- think of it as a day bed.
There is a very small patio at the rear which is suitable for die hard smokers, but there is no smoking inside the apartment. As the apartment is 'Lower Ground' there are steep narrow British stairs leading to the front door, so all guests must be agile!
The apartment has three TVs, Blu Ray & DVD multi region system, cable, wireless internet and a cosy dining nook off the living room, with a skylight overhead.
The nearest underground line is Sloane Square, but you are also within walking distance of South Kensington station. I prefer to take the number 19 or 22 bus to the Piccadilly Circus if I am headed to the West End -- ride on the top of the iconic double decker red London bus and get a birds eye view of all London has to offer.

Exactly what we needed in a lovely residential area close (walking)) to some wonderful restaurants. Be aware, however, you must go down/up a very steep and narrow stairway to get to the apartment. Was quite scary for 69-year-old me with balance issues. Other than that, great place and Marc was the very best of hosts.

Aside from the record breaking heat wave in London for the week we were there, this place was great! Location is perfect! Marcus was fantastic!Be mindful of the time of year you’re traveling. As Americans, A/C is a necessity! In the UK units aren’t all equipped with A/C and if they are the units are small. It gets hot! Pay attention when booking. The unit here was good for the bedroom but not able to really cool the entire property making sleeping in the smaller room a bit uncomfortable but not unbearable. Again, we loved the place and our only complaint was out of Marcus’ control!

Absolutely lovely. All the comforts of home. Mark explained everything well at check in and gave us some great travel tips. Great location, quiet place with 2 bathrooms, washer & dryer, dishwasher and a soaking bathtub! The tube and bus stops are close. Lots of restaurants and stores in easy walking distance. Highly recommend.
