About this house rental
Maison Rose is a few meters from the town square in the beautiful Medieval Bastille hill top village of Lauzerte. Lauzerte is on the pilgrims walk famously known as the Camino de Santiago de Compostella. The home features high ceilings, a rooftop terrace with 2nd kitchen, and three floors. The home boasts over 1200 years of architectural features and 3200 square feet (300 square meters) of comfortable living space. It is fully renovated with taste, modern conveniences and luxury. Lauzerte is a special village full of artists and exercise enthusiasts. You can load up on fresh vegetables, flowers, dinner and gifts at the weekly Saturday market. Thursday nights in the summer the village dines together in the square, it is a truly peaceful and special place. You will be close to Montcuq (and it's lake with a beautiful white sand beach), Castelsagrat, Auvillar and many other beautiful villages. You are also not far from Moissac and it's stunning cathedral, and wine regions near Cahors. Conveniently located just under an hour from Toulouses' train station and international airport. This is our second visit to Lauzerte. We spent 2 weeks in this fabulous house which has everything you need and is only a minute or two from the main village square.

This ancient historical house was just breathtaking.
It’s hard to describe living in such a place, even for only a week. Thick stone walls, massive wooden beams, a stone staircase into the cellar—it was an amazing experience. Given all that, the kitchen was modern, the bathrooms were modern, there was access to WiFi and a sound system throughout.
Meghan responded to all our questions and introduced us to friends in the neighborhood, and they in turn invited us to meet with other neighbors in town. Such a pleasant place to stay.

Beautifully restored old town house, very comfortable and situated in the best street in town, close to the centre but not noisy.
