'The Shana Residences' are a luxury condominium complex in Manuel Antonio, nestled amid the lush rainforest of Punta Quepos. Shana Residences #310 has some of the best ocean views and location in the entire resort, and overlooks the pool area. The condo is well-appointed with high-end furniture and furnishings, including all of the details that one would love at their home away from home.
The living area, dining area and kitchen all communicate with each other, and with a fantastic outdoor covered balcony--which is the perfect spot to relax after a day of fun activity. The master bedroom has a king bed, a queen sofa bed, a large walk-through closet and huge bathroom. The guest bedroom also has a king bed, walk-through closet and large bathroom. Every detail provides the maximum comfort--from the mattresses, sheets and duvets--to the familiar coziness of the kitchen.
The Shana Resort is located in what is perhaps the most pristine and tranquil area of Manuel Antonio. It is located just minutes from the main public beach, Manuel Antonio National Park (one of Forbes magazine's '12 most beautiful national parks of the world'!), and main public beach (Playa Espadilla). There is also a beautiful cove beach just 8 minutes walk away along a private trail- Playa Biesanz, where the waves are smaller and you can rent beach chairs, kayaks and paddle boards.
The Shana has it all: a huge family pool and Jacuzzi, adult pool & bar, sunning terraces with day beds, a contemporary lounge area, restaurant, and 24 hour security. There is also a private gym on the premises (not included but very affordable). You can even hire your own chef, or have a massage therapist come directly to your condo!

We loved this unit. Having two large bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms was awesome. We ate breakfast and drank our coffee on the deck overlooking the pool and ocean every morning. We had fun watching the monkeys try to get food from people at the restaurant. The view can't be beat. Having laundry and access to the hotel pool was great. The unit has beach chairs and towels. I'd recommend wearing good shoes to hike down to the beach and not flip flops, but it's only about a 5 min walk once you hit to the trail next to the hotel. The beach is rocky-bring water shoes!The only issue we had was check-in. We didn't receive anything prior to check-in so figuring out how to get into the unit after checking in with the hotel was a bit tricky. You'll need the website with the key code for the lock box. :) Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend for a stay in Manuel Antonio!

Family of 4 with 2- 20 yr old kids. Stayed for 8 days middle of June. Amazing view of the ocean overlooking the pool. Great location for tourist, attractions, restaurants, and beaches. Lots of wildlife right on the property, the monkey mafia, sloth, toucan, and McCaws. The pool stuff is wonderful, providing cocktails, and popcorn every evening. Condo itself had everything we needed. Excellent spot would stay again! Note: The Shana is on a hill side very steep walk to condo, pool restaurant and Playa Biesanz. Would not recommend for elderly or people with bad knees. They do offer a golf cart shuttle but doesn’t go to beach.

Amazing place! Great views, private residence with access to all the amenities of Shana, designated parking. You should stay here. Convenient to restaurants and tourist spots, but feels like a world away. We loved our time here and I highly recommend you stay too!

This was rated 10/10. The property was in average condition and very dated. It is stated as walkable. I would not consider the road walkable. Especially at night for dinner. The property also had an odor of stale smoke or something.
