About this apartment rental
This condo is located in the family friendly Garden City Beach Area just south of Myrtle Beach. This two-bedroom suite condo is in the 16-story high rise Royal Garden Resort. The Royal Garden Resort has a large outdoor and indoor swimming pool and hot tub. There is an onsite game room with games for all ages. Linens are included in the reservation and can be exchanged daily for fresh linens. There is a family friendly Beach Bar and Grill. The Salty Pickle is a great place to enjoy a refreshing choice of premium liquors, wine, imported and domestic beers while overlooking the beautiful Atlantic Ocean.

Definitely dated property. There should have been much better cleaning throughout the condo. Cakes of dust on blinds in bedroom. Cooking pans and utensils need to be replaced. Would have been nice to have a keypad instead of a single key. The bed in one bedroom was comfortable, but not the bed in front bedroom. Response time with owner could have been quicker. Enjoyed the view from balcony, right on beach, pool was nice. Property provided beach chairs.

I have stayed at the RGR since I was a teenager with my parents, very rarely do I have any problems. The condo was clean and well maintained, from the cable service, to the AC, and appliances all worked well! I love the 4th floor unit as it allows you the best views! The last day we were there it was rather windy and rainy, however being in a unit where everything worked and was clean made it ok. Oh and the indoor pool and hot tub are always great, temps were good especially since the install of the exhaust fan at the hot tub. All in all it was a great trip at a property that continues to upgrade and improve the building every year!

I have stayed at Royal Garden for years, I have stayed in several different units over the years. This unit is in serious need of preventative maintenance, first off two of three toilets do not flush properly, washing machine had no water pressure, it took more than 15 minutes to fill with water for the rinse. I had to fill a bowl with water from the kitchen sink and make 6 trips to fill washer before it would continue with the cycle. Also the garbage disposal made noise but it stayed clogged.And last but not least the unit was infested with cockroaches. And as I am in the hospitality industry I know they were really bad! I have never experienced this problem before at Royal Garden. I did report roaches, however I did not report other issues as I didn't want to spend my vacation with maintenance coming in and out of the unit. We were given a discount for the bug issue, however I would rather PM's were done to the units to correct problems before they arise. I will continue to stay at Royal Garden, I made this review to help improve the guest experience, not to cast a bad light on Seabreeze or Royal Garden.
