The Gator Den

Location is convenient to river activities. Pretty cool outdoor bar and restaurant overlooking the river. All of the food we had there was excellent and a good price. Live music on both nights we stayed. Rooms are not fancy but had been nicely updated (with ceramic tile for flooring and bath, so no musty carpet smells).

Really close to a main road, so some traffic noise. The traffic died down at night so the disturbance was limited. Parking is shared with the bar/restaurant so is tight, however each room had a dedicated slot.

Love the location. Loved the room. Everything was perfect for our weekend get-a-way! We wanted to rent a boat for a river ride and Stan hooked us up!! It topped off our weekend and we are so grateful.

Amazing pub friendly hometown stafff

The room itself was perfect... nice size, clean, comfortable, good shower and lots of towels, amenities like coffee, microwave, fridge and hair dryer Had a restaurant you could walk to. Except for the internet problem I would have given it a 10

Unfortunately, the internet did not work for 3 days. I called and emailed (using phone) and got no response. When I finally saw a staff member, they sent the IT guy and even he had trouble fixing the problem. He did comp us dinner and on the 4th day it worked fine. There was good cell service so for many people they would just use their phones, but for me this was a real problem... I had to miss some online classes the phone was just too small.
