We enjoyed the quiet and lovely house, in the northern part of Giethoorn. It's much less crowded than a southern part. The house itself has everything one needs for a great stay: from a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom accessories, towels and linens, to a private terrace with grill utensils. The house was exceptionally clean as well! Kids enjoyed the garden and the wood stove - great way to warm yourself up, if it's cold outside. One can also rent an electric boat to explore the area around, and even travel to a southern part of Giethoorn. It takes minutes to make yourself comfortable, boat drives almost as a car :) Last but not least, hosts are very welcoming and can share tons of tips and tricks about Giethoorn: where to go and what to see.
