About this house rental
This cabin has been remodeled and restored. It now sleeps six and has one and a half bathrooms. It also has a full kitchen, washer and dryer, living room, and great views. The property is centrally located in Paradise Valley.
We have lived here our entire lives. Our family came to the area in 1873. We are one mile from a natural hot springs with swimming available. You can hear, Emigrant Creek running by the cabin, no highway noise.
Swimming, horseback riding, day spa, rafting, Five star restaurant all with in a mile of the cabin. Unlimited hiking, beautiful views, fresh mountain air and a waterfalls 2 miles up the creek from the cabin. And much more.
As much or as little as they would like.
We are away from the highway noise yet easily accessed. This is a quiet area and we live a simple life. It is easy to spend all of your time in Yellowstone Park. We have had many guests say that they wished they would have spent more time exploring Emigrant Creek.

Overall, everything was fantastic. I would say my only "rant" would be that the pillows were flat and the main bathroom door was a little tricky to close (have to lift the handle a little to get it to latch). But really, in the grand scheme of things, these were minor and in no way a big deal. Our first morning there, I was unsure what to do with the full trash bag. I sent Brian a message, he was at the cabin within 10-15 minutes to pick up our trash. And he was by every morning to pick it up (we had a house full so had plenty of trash).Would definitely recommend!

The Placer Cabin was a great home base for our family trip to Yellowstone. I am glad we had a couple of days to just hang out at the cabin and do some short local hikes to waterfalls, too. Paradise Valley is aptly named. The scenery was beautiful. Bryan was a great host, and I enjoyed visiting with him.

Opening the windows and listening to the gentle sound of the water was incredibly calming and made every morning and evening feel special. The setting is private, serene, and surrounded by breathtaking mountain views, making it easy to disconnect from the stresses of everyday life.The location is ideal—far enough away to enjoy solitude and nature, yet close enough for easy day trips to both Bozeman and Yellowstone National Park. Whether you’re looking to explore the area’s outdoor adventures or simply unwind and enjoy the scenery, this property provides the perfect home base.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful Montana retreat in one of the most beautiful valleys in the West.
