Godenano di Mezzo is an ancient farm located in the heart of the Castellina in Chianti countryside, in the cradle of the Sienese Chianti Classico, one of the most beautiful areas of the splendid Tuscan countryside.
Godenano di Mezzo is only a 10/15 minute walk from the historic center of Castellina in Chianti, where you can find everything you need to make your holiday complete, shops, supermarkets, bars, pizzerias, restaurants and wine bars.
Our swimming pool is ideal for relaxing, positioned to the south-west, it enjoys a splendid view of the surrounding hills and the entire Val D'Elsa.
Furthermore, a short distance from Godenano di Mezzo there are some of the most renowned and internationally renowned wineries in the area, with the possibility of tasting their exclusive products.
The entire surrounding area is suitable for an incredible food and wine holiday, with a thousand flavors and full of delicacies typical of our tradition that has made us famous throughout the world, you will spend entire days tasting the flavors of Tuscany. In conclusion, ideal geographical context. All apartments have access to the panoramic outdoor swimming pool equipped with sunbeds, deckchairs and umbrellas/canopy. Furthermore, there is a barbecue in the common area and free parking available to guests.
The ground floor apartments can accommodate 2 to 4 people and have a kitchen, living room, sofa bed, private outdoor area, double bedroom, storage area, bathroom with shower, linen and wifi.
The apartment on the first floor which can accommodate 4 to 6 people and has a kitchen, living room, sofa bed, private outdoor area, 2 double bedrooms, storage area, 2 bathrooms with shower, linen, air conditioning, parking and wifi. Each apartment has the possibility of adding up to 2 beds on a comfortable sofa bed at an additional cost of €80 per night.
The additional cost for final cleaning is €50.
Prices are calculated per night for two people. The tourist tax of €2 per night per person for a maximum of 7 nights is to be paid in cash at the property.

Overall a really great stay. A large sized pool, very clean with an amazing view; a very peaceful spot. What is a massive plus is that there are only 3 apartments ( two one bed and one 2 bed) so you won't be shareing it with many others.We had it mostly to ourselves. Apartment (rosemary) nicely appointed, air con in both rooms, very good private outside space. Local town within 10-15 min easy walk lots of nice places to eat. Owners attentive if needed. One to think about -read the description, the kitchen is a kitchenette, 2 electric rings , microwave , shared gas BBQ outside, slim dishwasher. If cooking forms a bit part of your holiday it may be a bit limited. Great for us- town has plenty of choice. Local gelato shop outstanding. No TV. Would be very happy to return.

We stayed in the Lavanda Villa and enjoyed everything about it! It was a beautiful space, clean and had everything we needed for comfort and cooking. We could live there! Our patio was so beautiful with a table and 2 chairs and 2 very comfortable loungers covered by grape vines. Coffee & tea in the morning was very relaxing. The pool was very sparkly and had comfy loungers too. The view was stunning! Our host Linda was great to deal with! Her Daughter was as well!Highly recommended this for a stay in the Tuscan hills. We hope to be back!

This is a beautiful property and we really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean and well appointed (if a bit cold when we were there in March!). It was nice to have coffee and tea and all the necessary dishes, pots, etc. in the kitchen - as a suggestion it would be great to also have a small portion of olive oil, salt and pepper for guests to use. Linda is such a lovely host but we would have appreciated check-in instructions - we never received any and we were at a loss for what to do when we arrived at the property. Apart from that minor communication shortcoming, everything was wonderful. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay in Castellina in Chianti. Our apartment was really spacious with a beautiful view over the tuscany hills. The pool and its view are wonderful.
It is perfect if you look for a quiet time and to relax. But it is also perfectly situated to visit Florence or even the sea for a day trip.
We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back some day. Thank you Linda!
