About this house rental
'The Brinley's' is a quaint, comfortable cottage, within close, easy walking distance to Blackheath railway station, shops, hotels and restaurants.
Govett's Leap and Evan's lookouts are only a short drive away.
A leisurely drive to Jenolan Caves, Mount Wilson and Mount Tomah is quite possible to do in a day.
Buses run regularly to Katoomba.
Bush-walking enthusiasts will appreciate the closeness to so many different walking tracks.
The cottage is situated in a quiet street, set on a double block, surrounded by a well-maintained, attractive garden, so if you are wanting to just sit back and relax, that is the place to be.

Bedroom 2 - two single beds, bedside table, reading lamps, wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Bed linen, bath towels, bath mat and tea towels are included. All beds include blankets, doonas, pillows and electric blankets.

shower, heating, separate toilet.
Lounge room - divan, two arm chairs, TV, inbuilt DVD, books, DVDs, split system A/C, portable heater, radio/CD player.
Kitchen - fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave, stove, cooking utensils, kettle, toaster, ample cutlery and crockery for four people, table with four chairs.

We are no longer allowing pets to stay, as damage has been done to walls and furniture.

We loved this quaint little cottage! Very comfortable lounge in front of the fire, simple kitchen, and modernized bathroom with a great shower. The cottage stays toasty warm thanks to a good heater in the bathroom, and aircon plus slow combustion fire place (most of the time the aircon was off). Walking distance to Blackheath village. Will definitely be back.

Second stay here. Clean and comfortable beds. Fire place And heaters made for a comfortable stay during winter. Well equipped kitchen but also close to shops.

Brinley’s Cottage is a cosy , comfortable , warm cottage . It has a comfortable lounge area , warm bed and a modern bathroom and toilet . We enjoyed the board games with our grandchildren when they visited and heated the room with the air conditioner ( although there is a slow combustion fire too ) . It’s also close enough to Blackheath to walk into town for supplies such as bread and milk . We also drove down Govetts Leap Road to the NPWS and walked along the Fairfax Heritage Track to the George Phillips Lookout and then Govetts Leap Lookout on a beautiful , sunny winter’s day .

The cottage was okay - decor was old and tired. Bathroom had been renovated and was good but everything else needs updating. Place needs painting.
