Clean, well-appointed suite ; partially glassed-in lounge with panoramic view ; well-maintained self-catering equipment. Attractive gardens. The host was very responsive when I couldn't access Whatsapp for instructions ; he also switched parking allocations to accommodate my bakkie !
There were 24 steps down to the entrance - could be awkward with heavy baggage.

It is quiet and we really enjoyed our stay. Even if the town didn’t have water it didn’t affect the property. There is look-out points nearby so you can basically walk there.

The host communication was wonderful and clear. The host also arranged to have our car park in the undercover parking.
The bed was very uncomfortable and clearly needs replacing. It was excessively bouncy, which meant we kept waking up during the night. The shower was also disappointing, with extremely low water pressure. In an effort to conserve water, we tried turning the shower off while soaping and back on to rinse, but even then it was difficult to rinse properly. Eventually, I gave up and used my sister’s accommodation instead. The sea view apartment has windows which open onto an undercover parking area. Being woken early in the morning by cars starting and moving around was quite unpleasant.
