Large 5 bedroom, lakefront home, boat dock, wrap around patio, amazing views!

Property was above my expectations!!! It was awesome! Clean, fabulous open views and plenty of room!!!

The house was nice and we had plenty of room for our large family. We loved the privacy of the property. The boat was enjoyable as well. I would recommend this property.

Loved the location and the house. However the house is on its own water well I believe and there is a bad sulfer smell when you run the water. Deck is a little rough and needing repairs could pose a hazard in some places. Over all nice rental would probably stay again.

Let me start with the PROs of the home - it has plenty of room for a large family! It is close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge while also being right on the water and the town of Newport is close (20 minutes) for groceries, pharmacy, hospital etc. The kids loved swimming and playing in the water! And the house is in a small cove so we were able to use our paddle boards!  The view from the deck is great! We saw a black bear swimming in the cove, and eagle catching fish and pretty sunsets.Now for the CONs - The water has a strong sulfer smell, Kyle did have someone out the next day to treat it and even though it reduced the smell it never went away. We purchased cases of water for drinking and gallons of water for cooking. And our showers was were limited.The house was not the cleanest, things that should be cleaned after every guest where not cleaned. The deck has some loose boards, and the over hang and gazebo roofs could use a power wash, lots of spiders and spider eggs.This is more of a personal preference - the beds were too firm for our liking.Over all we enjoyed the location of the house and being on the water. It was peaceful with no close or loud neighbors. However if we would have known prior to booking about the water smell we would not have booked our stay here.
