This property has spectacular views of the beach when this unit is combined with the upper unit, which is available in multiple custom configurations and is adjacent to all major attractions. Located on the boardwalk, adjacent to additional guard gated parking. The bay, harbor, and marina is a short walk away as well.

Great location, close to the fun zone and balboa pier. Owner was really easy to work with. Plenty of beach chairs/umbrellas. House was clean. We enjoyed going to Cruisers for dinner and Lombardy’s for lunch. My family had a wonderful stay!

Our group had an absolutely wonderful stay at Shauntelle’s beach house! She was an incredible host from start to finish. Her communication was prompt, friendly, and thoughtful, and she made the entire check-in and walkthrough process effortless. She went above and beyond to accommodate our group with sleeping arrangements, parking, and every little detail to make us feel comfortable.The location truly couldn’t have been better. We walked to Dory Deli for breakfast and coffee, enjoyed peaceful mornings on the patio, took walks along the beach, rented bikes, did a workout class at the nearby beach park, grabbed the famous frozen bananas on Balboa Island, and walked to the Balboa Fun Zone for an unforgettable sunset cruise. We barely had to use our cars because everything was within walking or biking distance.The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and stocked with everything we needed. You can truly tell how much care Shauntelle puts into making her guests feel welcome.This was one of the best vacation rentals we’ve stayed in, and we’d happily book again. Thank you, Shauntelle, for helping make our girls’ beach getaway so memorable!

The host and location exceeded all expectations. First, the location: the front door to the home opens to the sounds of ocean waves and a small patio with chairs and a BBQ right along the beachside Newport Balboa walking and biking trail - we loved our morning and evening strolls along the trail with nearby restaurants, shopping and the beach steps from the front door. The home was clean, well furnished and organized with everything we needed. As great as the location was, the host further exceeded expectations. Shauntelle was attentive to ensuring we had everything we needed for the stay and made it a point to talk over the phone in advance to be sure she didn't miss anything. As she learned more about us and our plans, she offered the upstairs space at no additional cost. The upstairs has glorious views of the beach, ocean, pier, and perfect sunsets from the deck overlooking it all. The additional space allowed our big group to spread out comfortably and created additional privacy - it was truly a generous gift that made a wonderful stay even better. I highly recommend this home and host - based on our experience, they will exceed expectations!

We had a great stay overall and would recommend this home, especially for its location. Being directly across from the beach and having beach parking right in front of the house made everything incredibly convenient with 2 small kids. There were also plenty of restaurants, shops, and dining options within walking distance, so we rarely needed to drive. Compared to other homes in the area, we also felt this was very reasonably priced.Shauntelle was an excellent host, pleasant, thorough, and extremely responsive throughout our stay. She checked in with us daily, and when we requested extra bedding, towels, and beach equipment before arriving, everything was waiting for us as promised.There are just a couple of things future guests should be aware of. While the listing is advertised as a four-bedroom home, it functions more like three bedrooms. The room with the full bunk beds is quite small and is attached to one of the other bedrooms rather than being a completely separate room. Also, the home does not have air conditioning, only ceiling fans, so it can get warm at night. Finally, the oven was unfortunately out of service during our stay, which was disappointing since we had planned to cook dinner. That said, Shauntelle responded quickly and made sure we had an alternative by providing access to an air fryer, which we appreciated.Overall, the location, value, and outstanding communication from Shauntelle made for a very enjoyable stay. We'd happily stay here again.
