Welcome to the Heard's! Our condo is located at Gulf Tower, Unit 2A, 1051 W. Beach Blvd., Gulf Shores, AL. Owner managed for a personal experience! We want you to enjoy our wonderful home away from home!
This unit is literally steps from the beach! (see first picture) It's like sitting on the beach but no sand! Imagine sitting on the balcony, in the living room/dining area or the kitchen and you have such a GREAT view of the Gulf of Mexico with delightful dolphins to view on an almost a daily basis. And when you want to go to the beach it's steps away from the pool area!
Spacious Gulf Front condo, east corner, fully furnished, 3rd floor unit (1st Floor is a parking garage) with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. King sized bed in each bedroom, pull out sofa bed in good sized living room and day bed on the balcony comfortably sleeps 6. Freshly painted, nicely decorated and inviting with tile and laminate flooring, full kitchen and laundry room. The view is BEAUTIFUL!!
There are 3 SMART tv's , 3 DVD players with games, puzzles and books to enjoy! Free WIFI available!
Enjoy the Recreation room on the first floor with some older exercise equipment, games, puzzles, and books also with a beach front view. Oceanfront outdoor pool with entrance to the beautiful white sand beach. Convenience stores and restaurants nearby! Also Shopping!
The unique balcony includes choice to open doors to a beautiful unobstructed view of the Gulf of Mexico or if it's a bit too hot (or a bit too cold) you can close them and still enjoy a magnificent on the beach experience!
You are quoted a price including one parking pass at the rate of $40.00. During high rental season only one vehicle is allowed to park in the GT parking lot due to limited parking spaces available. The high rental season is determined as, March 1st through August 15th, Labor Day Weekend Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Shrimp Festival in October. I send you all the condo information approximately 30 days prior to your arrival. Any dates other than those listed above you can purchase additional passes directly from Owner.
Two new elevators and a new Range in 2024!
The unit isn't completely updated, but it is clean and affordable! AND did I mention the view??

The condo is perfectly situated for what we were looking for. Very clean and had everything we needed for a week of total relaxation. Definitely will be returning!

Many aspects of this rental were excellent: very short walk to beach (easily run back to unit to retrieve forgotten items or grab a snack), 2 uncrowded fast elevators (never waited more than 1 min), location near to restaurants/shopping, owners closet full of beach items for use, stocked kitchen, ample and comfortable furniture in living area.Other aspects not so thrilling: property is very concerned about preventing wanderers from accessing pool and beach (key fobs required to enter), but anyone could access the elevators and go directly to all units in the building which was concerning. More than once I returned to the unit and the door handle unlocked without input of the code. Neither king size bed was very comfortable for our group and some elected to leave prior to staying the final night on the mattress. There were tiny ants visible on the kitchen countertops all week even after reporting this on the first day. The additional footage gained by removing patio doors was nice to have, but we missed being able to have momonets of privacy on a balcony during our stay. To be alone we had to leave to go to the pool or beach. And finally, the parking. It is an issue if you bring more than one vehicle. We knew upfront one pass was provided and so we requested addional areas for parking car #2. Owner sent list of available lots but only 1 was close enough to park and walk to on a daily basis (15 per day). Owner recommended parking at local Wal-Mart but that was not an option.
