About this lodge
You will follow forest covered, back roads until you reach our Pines Lodge that is nestled next to Sand Run Lake, 18,000+ acres of Wayne National Forest, and is situated on our 7-acre property with a private pond and a water wheel. Upon arrival, you are welcomed to beautiful views of the forest that will have you coming back for more. Being avid outdoor lovers, we hope you and your guests get to spend some quality time outdoors! Sip your morning coffee off the large deck overlooking the forest and listening to the nearby nature.
Spend the afternoon enjoying flamed grilled food from the grill. Partake in some catch and release fishing in the private pond on the lower portion of the property or at Sand Run Lake. Make sure you stroll over to Sand Run Lake Picnic area and wander into the forest filled with pine trees. If you have a hammock, we recommend bringing it so you can fall asleep amongst the trees.
There is a newly renovated gravel firepit with wooden benches and Adirondack chairs for you and your guests to create memories of a lifetime around the campfire. You can end your night by relaxing and unwinding in the warm hot tub. Before heading to bed, make sure you and your guests check out the beautiful starry night sky because that’s not something you get to experience all the time.

We really enjoyed the home for a family vacation with six adults, three children and two dogs. Pool and hot tub were steps from front porch. We were in both all day long. Driving distance not too bad too bad for dining and enjoying Hocking Hills. Would highly recommend for a large family vacation getaway!!

There’s a mouse in the house..water pressure needs worked on. There should be a trash can on porch. We ate outside a lot. Pool sign wants people to shower before getting in pool. Need an outside shower by pool. We had a good time.

The email didn’t tell us where to get the key. The signage was non existent. There was a large old cobweb on the ceiling, and in the deer head, thick dust on the TV stand. The hot tub was very good. Mmm
