Very comfortable room and very pleasant front-of-house people. The breakfast provision was above expectations - cooked to order and delicious.
They closed the kitchen early (7pm) on the Saturday we were going to eat there - had to go elsewhere. No great loss as there are other places nearby, but it seemed a bit quirky.

It was close to York Barbican
Windows you could hear everything though them. Actually thought someone was in the room. And the green light near door

The breakfast was lovely cooked nice and value for money
We had a boiler in our room that fired up all night, the location was too far from the centre , no drinking glasses in the room and very small towels, the shower had no power was slow . The boiler in the cupboard in our room made the room very warm . The humidifier did very little we also brought our own fan
