This 2 bedroom knotty pine cottage offers beds for 5 plus a sleeper sofa. The large sitting room offers a picture window with views of Portage Lake. The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and the second bedroom sleeps three with a twin and a bunk bed set. This room offers built in closet and drawer space. The sitting room offers a sleeper sofa. The kitchen is fully equipped and linens are provided. We offer daily, weekly, and monthly rentals. This cottage is located on a lot with its sister dollhouse, which makes a perfect grandparent or in-law pairing. A discount is offered for those interested in renting both. This area of Portage Lake is the most desirable location for most vacationers, due to its unparalleled access to both lakes. Ideally located on a narrow peninsula between Portage Lake and Lake Michigan, each offering unique beaches. It is across the street from Portage Lake and an easy 5 minute walk to Lake Michigan and the historic Portage Point Inn. Public access to both lakes is close by. Onekama is the gateway to the scenic M22- voted one of the top 10 scenic drives in America by USA Today. There is truly something for everyone. Spend your time strolling both beaches, swimming, boating, fishing, or just relaxing around a beach bonfire while watching the sunset. We are also within a half hour of world class golf at the renown Arcadia Bluffs. Night time fun can be had at the Little River Casino only a few miles away. We are within an hour of the Traverse City wine region, the Platte River, and Crystal Mountain resort. Charter fishing can be easily arranged in Onekama.

Nice cottage. Nice view out the front window. Quiet. Close to alot of small towns and tc. It pleased us.I have one suggestion:Saw down the one branch that blocks the view to Portage Lake. Instead of seeing a clear view I'm looking at leaves. It is an awesome view, open it up a little.Peace

Enjoyed our stay in this sweet, quirky little cabin! The check in/out process was super easy. The cabin is simple but well appointed and very clean! The BEST part is its location!! STEPS to Lake Michigan and Portage Lake means lots of walks and fires on the beach and paddle boarding on cooler days! Beautiful views. We loved our special week here!

Loved the location and for the most part the cottage was good but this city girl could not tolerate the well water. The sulfur smell was so strong it gagged me. Bought bottled water for drinking and cooking but had to shower in it and it was just terrible. First thing I did when I got home was take a long hot shower.
