I generally do not leave reviews, but I had to for this property. The Yellow Tea Cup Cottage was the most charming little house we’ve ever stayed in. It was decorated in the quaintest fashion I’ve ever seen. It reminded me of staying at my grandmother’s house where everything was warm and inviting. There was plenty of room and the furnishings were abundant—including treats to feed to the friendly horses. If you’re looking for a nice relaxing spot in the country or a base of operations for your time in the Knoxville area, look no further. Oh, we liked the 8 in 1 Victrola so much that we decided to buy one for our house.

This sweet home was perfect for 7 of us and a dog for a long weekend. The home had everything we could have possibly needed for a seamless experience. We loved feeding the horses and hearing the roosters crowing in the morning. The location is perfect to get to Maryville and to Knoxville easily. The host replied promptly to all my questions which was so helpful.

This is the second time I've stayed at Yellow Teacup Cottage, and I can tell you that I will be back again. It is a beautiful house, wonderfully decorated. It's perfect for friends or family outing as there is enough room to do things together, or you can be by yourself. The beds are so comfortable and the linens are lovely. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. The home is very clean. Instructions are easy to understand, it is a comfortable space that makes you feel at home. The horses and goats in the nearby paddocks were a delightful bonus. Christie is one of the best hosts I've had in VRBO properties, she is very responsive and very helpful, Five stars all the way here!

The house and property were perfect for a stay with a dog. Enough space for the dog to exercise and the four horse were great to interact with.
