The Space:

Kas Vis is a 2,370 sq ft villa with four spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms, ideally distributed throughout the home. The open kitchen connects directly to the living room and is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove, toaster, coffee maker, freezer, and oven. Outdoor spaces include a private garden, balcony, and terrace surrounding the extra large private pool.

Good to know:

- Stairs: there is a staircase to the upper floor, which may be less suitable for guests with mobility issues

- Unpaved road: the final stretch to Kas Vis is unpaved, giving you a true Bonaire massage while driving

- No dryer: there is no dryer available, but thanks to sun and wind, laundry dries bone-dry within hours



Guest Access:

As a guest of Kas Vis, you have access to the entire villa, including all four bedrooms, three bathrooms, the open kitchen, living room, and all outdoor spaces including the private garden, balcony, terrace, and of course the extra large private pool. Free parking is available both on the property and on the street. To warmly welcome our guests and provide information about the accommodation and our beautiful island, we handle all arrivals personally. The Sunwise hosts will arrange your arrival time with you.



The Neighborhood:

Kas Vis sits in a chic coastal zone along the azure waters, south of the airport. Here you will find luxury villas, some directly on the ocean and sometimes with private docks, along with direct access to famous dive spots like The Lake, Angel City, and the Hilma Hooker wreck site. Punt Vierkant is made for ocean views, sunsets, and premium comfort, making it a prime location for those who want the best of Bonaire's west coast at their doorstep.



Kas Vis is approximately 260 meters from Good and More supermarket, 250 meters from Dive Friends Delfins dive center, 700 meters from Playa Esmeralda (Ocean Oasis), 13 kilometers from Lac Bay (windsurfing) and 450 meters from Brass Boer restaurant.



Sunwise insider tip: About a fifteen-minute drive from Kas Vis, you will find Sorobon and Lac Bay, one of Bonaire's most special places. Sorobon is a small fishing harbor with Caribbean charm, while Lac Bay is world-renowned as a windsurfing paradise thanks to constant trade winds and a shallow, warm lagoon. This area is part of the Ramsar wetland, an internationally protected nature reserve of great ecological value. The combination of crystal-clear water, mangrove forests, and expansive salt flats makes this a unique spot for water sports and nature observation.



Getting Around:

Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Kas Vis. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.



Other Things to Note:

Check-in to Kas Vis is from 3:00 PM and check-out is until 10:00 AM. Early arrival or late departure may be possible on request, depending on other reservations. Smoking and pets are not allowed in our accommodations, and we kindly ask you to keep noise down at night. Enjoy your stay at Kas Vis!
