Really lovely space right on the beach! It’s also close to many things including a local bookstore, restaurant, and the Boardwalk. We loved every minute.

This was one of the cleanest properties we have been to at beach and we’ve been going annually for 20 years. I would highly recommend.
10 / 10Outstanding·Jun 2026
This was the perfect vacation home for us. We had four adults and four children (ages 8, 10, 13, and 17) and this house had something for everyone…..corn hole boards, sand toys, board games, books for the beach, a well stocked kitchen, and bedrooms for everyone. We loved the ocean front views from the porch and the private beach access. The house was exceptionally clean and our host was very fast to respond to our questions. 10 out of 10. You wont be disappointed with McGee by the Sea!

This is our second stay at McGee by the Sea and we like the location, the house and the easy communication with the owner. We also enjoyed surprisingly nice weather in Kure Beach even with Hurricane Erin offshore.
