About this house rental
A very small farm nestled in the middle of everywhere. Private and peaceful, but located minutes from award winning dining, music, arts, theater and poetry. Only 2 hours from New York and Boston, Farmington has the best of everything.
We live in a separate house on the property and are always close by to answer any questions. We have pigs in the forest and sheep in the pasture, they are visible (but it's not a petting zoo).

This is a beautiful property conveniently located for our use! We had lots of room to spread out with two living rooms, plenty of room for those who had to work during our stay, and a well-equipped kitchen for when we cooked. We even saw a bear run through the back yard while we were there! The owner was super responsive to our questions and needs.

We had a wonderful week at Moose Lodge! The house is large and comfortable, with lots of cozy areas for eating and relaxing together. Beautiful views of the grounds from every window. We enjoyed watching the sheep and pigs, not to mention chipmunks, squirrels, & birds. The fireflies at night were amazing. Very private feel, like we were the only ones around. The hosts were responsive, helpful, and left thoughtful touches for us upon arrival, check in and check out were so easy. Highly recommend!

This turned out to be the perfect place us to stay over the weekend of our nephew's wedding. Along with us were our adult children and grand-daughters, 3 and 6. They and their parents occupied one wing of the house while the rest of us slept upstairs on the other side of the house. It was a welcoming place with more food for all of us and games for the kids than we ever expected. It was charming and comfortable. We loved our stay there.

This is simply one of the best places, if not the best place we had stayed at. Everything was perfect!!!!
