This is a very special house with awe inspiring views of the Green Mountains. If you are a skier, you can fantasize about speeding down the trails you will see from the deck but we non-skiers never tired of just enjoying the mountains with coffee in the morning or with a bread and cheese picnic on the deck or at sunset. This is a big house but we were a small family who felt right at home. Everything was clean and in working order and the owner was very prompt to answer questions. I can't say enough about the Vermonters who helped us out on the 4th of July when we developed car trouble. The Mad River Valley is our favorite corner of Vermont.

This was our second stay at this property. The home is spacious with plenty of sleeping options. The kitchen is well stocked, and the dining room table pulls out to accommodate a large crowd! We were in the area celebrating our son’s graduation from Norwich University. This home was the perfect space for enjoying the weekend with our family!

The house was perfect for our family ski trip to Sugarbush - Glenn was always available to answer any questions and provided lots of info about the house and the Mad River Valley - the beds were comfortable and the house was well stocked for our stay - the very charming town of Waitsfield was a few minutes from the house - you even get to go over a covered bridge to get there - and it was an easy drive to the mountain - couldn't ask for more!
The property offers a great experience with spacious rooms, beautiful views, well-equipped kitchen, and easy access to nearby amenities and activities. Ideal for groups and families.

The upper floor was good, but the lower floor was stuffy, with bad beds and dirty mattresses. For its price, you would expect more.
Built in 1988, this welcoming, comfortable and secluded three level home has a large open floor plan with stunning westerly views of Sugarbush South, Mt. Ellen, Mad River Glen and Camel Hump State Park. On the main floor there is a floor to-ceiling double-sided granite fireplace and cathedral ceilings. Includes a terrific wrap-around deck. The kitchen is fully equipped for all styles of meal prep. There is a master bedroom with a king size bed and full bathroom on the main floor as well. On the ground level, there are four spacious bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms have queen beds and 1 bedroom has twin beds. Walk out access from two of the bedrooms on the lower level with impressive mountain views.
