Newly Renovated and Beautifully Updated
We recently completed a comprehensive, top-to-bottom renovation of this exceptional Nantucket home, including all-new furnishings throughout. Built in 2006, this is not your typical antique in-town property. It offers the charm of Nantucket with a spacious, modern floor plan and thoughtfully updated amenities designed to provide a luxurious and comfortable stay.
The location is ideal. Tucked away on a quiet side street, 4½ Charter Street is just a few blocks from the shops, restaurants, and attractions in the heart of historic downtown Nantucket.
The open-concept main level features three beautifully furnished living spaces. The well-appointed kitchen includes custom cabinetry, commercial-grade appliances, an antique pine island, and granite and marble surfaces. The adjoining dining area comfortably accommodates eight guests. The inviting living room features a fireplace, television, and French doors opening onto a new multilevel patio with separate seating and dining areas. Sonos speakers in every room allow guests to enjoy music throughout the entire home, while modern heating and air conditioning ensure year-round comfort.
The spacious lower level feels like a separate cottage, with impressive 10-foot ceilings and plenty of room to relax. It includes a media room with a 70-inch television and 7.1 surround-sound system for a true theater experience, a large bedroom with a king-size bed, a second bedroom with two twin beds, and a full bathroom. High-speed internet, a printer, and a fax machine are also provided.
Upstairs are two private primary suites. The first features a king-size bed, a sitting area, a wall-mounted 50-inch television, and a luxurious en suite bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower and freestanding double-ended soaking tub. The second suite includes a king-size bed, a daybed with a trundle, a wall-mounted television, built-in drawers, and a private en suite bathroom.
Outside, the newly constructed multilevel patio offers a comfortable sitting area just off the living room, as well as a separate outdoor dining space and gas grill. The property also includes a private enclosed outdoor shower—a Nantucket essential.

The house is beautiful and well equipped. The location is fantastic - we walked to Main Street and all over the historic downtown from the house many times. Easy walk to the Wave bus terminal so you can travel to outer areas of the island. The bedrooms are split between the basement and the 2nd floor, allowing for separation (we had a 15 month old who went to bed at 7). The lower level has a very nice living area, king bedroom and a bunk room that can sleep up to 5. Had only one question for the host during the trip and received a very quick response. If we get the chance to return to Nantucket, we will certainly stay here again.

This is a top notch listing. The host is extremely responsive and helpful. Everything about the listing is accurate. All well organized, especially the fully appointed kitchen. A few blocks from town on a quiet street and quick drive to all mid island stores. I would highly recommend!
