Stylish, comfortable 1 bedroom 3rd floor apartment in Marylebone Village walking distance from all main attractions. The apartment is bright, clean and contemporary decor with fantastic roof deck. Enjoy breakfast or evening drinks outside!

Great location. It's lively during the day with tons to do nearby, but it's quiet at night. The place has a nice layout for a small space, and the rooftop terrace was a great place to escape to and enjoy the sounds of the city (day and night). The apartment was quiet at night and we slept very well. My only minor complaint was the check in process -- we arrived on a bank holiday so we could not get the keys in the usual manner (because the shop was closed) and had to wait over an hour for the keys. It ended up being fine, but hopefully the host is better aware for next time and plans ahead.

Great location and it's a cozy little place perfect for 1-2 people. Communication with the host was very prompt. Just a few suggestions for those booking the place. Check your email/VRBO app for the check-in instructions while you are either en route or before arriving at the property, somewhere with good wifi and/or cell service. I didn't think to do that before we arrived at the property which caused me a bit of stress (NOT the host's fault, I should have checked!) Also, be sure you can handle 3 flights of stairs (again, not the host's fault as it's clear on the booking, just be aware if you have any mobility issues, especially if you have a large suitcase). And the shower temp control was initially difficult to manage; don't be afraid to turn the knob a bit harder than you think you may need to when adjusting the temp, especially to decrease the water temp. The hot water is VERY hot, so use caution, especially if you have younger children in your party. The host responded quickly to our question/concern about that, which was appreciated. The place is very cozy but could use a bit of TLC (cosmetically - the closet mirror in the bedroom is cracked and the bottom dresser drawer is broken). Those are minor issues. The property was VERY clean upon arrival, which is the most important thing. It was cold, so we didn't get to use the terrace but it looks very nice! You cannot beat this location, everything you may want/need is close by. It was a perfect getaway spot for Xmas.

This was a great stay. Close to the tube lines, access to tons of food, great walking distance to most everything and a wonderful view from the terrace space. I loved every moment of this and my only gripe might be a lack of understanding about how much hot water is available and how to use the washer/dryer for a dryer only setting. Everything else is great, including the instructions. Thanks Vito.

Positives: Great neighborhood; close to Bond St. Station thus very easy to get anywhere you need, loads of restaurants/pubs/shops/markets close by; comfortable bed and plenty of pillows; working washing machine/dryer; reliable WiFi; nice roof terrace for having coffee or wine.Surprises: Wasn’t sent check-in code by 3pm so had to wait in the convenience store for half an hour until host saw my messages 30 minutes later (host apologized); the place is very old and run down for the price, pictures are misleading and need to be updated to accurately reflect the reality of the place; floors are very creaky/loud and uneven, and cracked in a few spots (a remodel of the floors or rugs to cover cracks would go a long way); napkins (which are pictured in listing on the table) or paper towels of any kind are not provided so if you plan to cook or eat-in, be sure to purchase them at the store yourself (host offered to reimburse me); shower pictures in listing must be old or altered as the walls in the shower do not look like the images at all; soap & shampoo provided were old and almost empty.Overall: great location and roof deck, pictures in listing should better reflect the place as current pictures are either outdated or altered, keys and code to get them should be provided by stated 3pm check-in time so guests do not have to wait and feel stranded after travel. The price of the place pays for the neighborhood and the roof deck, nothing more.
