About this chalet rental
DUE TO THE BEAR GLUCH FIRE LAST SUMMER HIKING TO STAIRCASE AND MT ELINOR ARE CLOSED. THE END OF 119 IS BLOCKED OFF DUE TO DANGEROUS LOOSE ROCK & DEBRIS. ETA TO OPENING IS UNDETERMINED AT THIS TIME.
The chalet is a cute UPSCALE, RUSTIC CHARMER that easily accommodates multiple families located at Lake Cushman, WA and nestled against the Olympic National Forest.
THERE IS WI-FI AND WI-FI CALLING. A LANDLINE PHONE IS PROVIDED! WE HAVE AIR CONDITIONING! CELL TOWER WAS INSTALLED AND SOMETIMES YOUR CELL PHONE WILL RING.
Enjoy long hot summer days along 22 miles of pristine, crystal-clear shoreline. Enjoy boating, jet skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, kayaking, water skiing, canoeing, swimming or just plain sunbathing. After a day in the sun come back to the chalet and enjoy a great BBQ with cocktails on the scenic 'park like' deck with its own private babbling creek.
Nestled in the Olympic National Forest it is perfect for the lake lover, adventurous hiker, the active nature lover or sitting by the fire and reading a good book.
There are two parks close to the house. Both offering boat launch, parking, picnic tables and a cove for swimming. The second park offers an additional playground, sandbox, volleyball, horseshoes, BBQ cabana, bathrooms and a special buoyed off area for small children to swim, splash and play.
Interested in scuba diving, crabbing, clamming or oyster digging in the town of Hoodsport? It is in your backyard.
Hiking is down the road with the famous Staircase and Mt Elinor hikes 7 miles away.
The house has been completely updated with new appliances, fully stocked kitchen, dual Keurig and 3 smart TVs. Plenty of off-street parking for multiple cars and boats. Perfect for families, reunions, church retreats, or honeymooners.
The house can sleep 8 with 2 Queen bedrooms. The loft has 1 queen, 2 twin beds and a youth bed, the downstairs bunk room has a double bunk on the bottom and a twin on top.
There is also a pack 'n' play crib stored in downstairs closet.

The home is located on a beautiful property right next to Lake Cushman. The home was clean and comfortable. Beautiful place to enjoy nature.

Great cabin with plenty of space. We struggled a bit with the smell of the basement especially so the kids didn't want to sleep down there. An air freshener would help. The checkout process is detailed, which is a bit challenging getting multiple loads of laundry through from the garage nextdoor if trying to get an early start. One might be more reasonable, switch it to the dryer if you get a chance.

This place was perfect for our group of friends. Being so close to the lake was real nice as we could easily walk there. Would stay again!

As advertised. Unfortunately though, the bottom level was un useable due to extreme mildew toxic odor. Also some hazardous decor items. I would not recommend kids under 6 unless issues addressed.
