About this house rental
This beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is situated on 3 acres with 900 ft of waterfront in East Sooke. Property has hot tub and private, fully serviced dock.
1 King, 1 Queen, 2 Twin and a Queen size chest bed in the loft, make it a comfortable getaway for 6 people (8 with owner consent, additional charges may apply). Down Duvets, built-in stereo system with indoor & outdoor speakers, built-in vacuum, outdoor fire pit can be used when no fire ban is in place, indoor wood burning stove, 6-8 person hot tub, Smart TV & DVD/VCR (DVD collection provided), High Speed Fiber Optic WiFi, washer & dryer, BBQ, and spotting telescope.
Playpen, highchair and some children's toys are also available. There is a horse shoe pit on the property and lots of space for playing catch, volleyball, frisbee, etc. Explore the shoreline and view the sea life which includes starfish, crabs, shellfish, mink, sea otters and seals. Hiking, bird watching, kayaking, whale watching and fishing in the area are also amazing.
A fully serviced dock with power and water that guests may use at their own risk and are welcomed to moor their boat or kayaks.
A short drive will take you into Sooke which offers a number of amenities including a public swimming pool, gym, zip lines, grocery stores, gas station, restaurants and shopping. This was an amazing spot to stay and we made some amazing memories!! Just the view alone made it all worth it. My kids loved the dock and met some seals that came and visited and loved watching the sea stars, jelly fish and crabs in the water. The beds were super comfy!! The one thing I noticed is that the house is in dire need of a good deep clean, but I didn’t let that bother me as much, as I understand it’s high season.

Our week-long stay was phenomenal. House was very comfortable and our family of 6 (ages 15-80 years old) quickly made themselves at home. Tucked away in the woods, the elevated location provided beautiful views all day (which were quite long during solstice). A short walk down to the dock brought marine life closer with opportunities to interact with a friendly harbor seal. At low tide we explored the tidal pools and rest of the shoreline. The grandparents had multiple locations to relax and take in the scenery. Grilling and cooking was a breeze. We enjoyed new finds in nature every day.The hot tub was perfect to wrap up evenings. Teens enjoyed it all - plus tv upstairs. They were sad to leave! We were lucky to meet the owners who were exceptionally hospitable. There were fantastic local parks and not too far from Sooke and Victoria activities. 20 out of 10!
