About this cabin rental
Step back into time when life was slower at this quaint cabin located in the shadow of Mount Lassen. Enjoy the short 1/4 mile walk to view Lake Almanor, one of Northern California's true gems. On your return from the lake stop by Carol's Cafe for a slice of true Americana fare. Pick up one of Carol's famous pies to enjoy while relaxing on the front porch as you rock your cares away. In the evening sip a cold beverage on the large back porch while enjoying Lassen National Forest and the wildlife that abounds there.

Host was very kind, prompt and accurate.Property is well appointed, charming and in a safe area. Just a few minutes from the lake and a 12min drive to civilization and most needed necessities. Felt very much like the cabin home I would have built for myself. True Gem

This cabin is awesome! Close to Butt Lake and Plumas Pines. Quiet neighborhood. Cabin is completely stocked and clean and feels a lot newer than photos. Easy check-in and checkout. Would definitely stay again.

Love the cozy cabin. This is our second time staying here. We enjoyed the walks in the woods , swimming & fishing in the lake and stargazing at night . Lots of family fun.
