About this apartment rental
As of May 23, 2020, my cabin is available for rent. I will follow CDC guidelines on cleaning, using an EPA-approved disinfectant for COVID-19 between customers. Thank you, George Stanley.
Appalachia at its best. A mountain cabin re-created within the basement (first floor, ground level) of my home for your pleasure. Private entrance(s), covered deck/patio, open deck, great view, very private setting.
The location has an East-West orientation, with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Great place to sit, relax, and enjoy your favorite beverage.
The cabin is fully self contained. It has its own kitchen, bath with shower (no tub), and a small living/dining area. One bedroom with a king size bed.
Centrally located between I-40 and I-26, on Busbee Mountain, the property borders the Biltmore Estate and blends in with the Blue Ridge Parkway at an elevation of 3,346 feet. To get a real glimpse of the property, go to https://youtu.be/gd66YZ9MEsE

Awesome views and great location. It’s definitely a highly recommended cabin. The drive to the cabin was exciting and surprising experience. Host was very accommodating, helpful and very nice.

The cabin is in a beautiful setting. Very quaint. Loved sunrise and relaxing on the porch. George is very welcoming and has put much thought into stocking the place with anything you might need. I would recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful scenic getaway. The only caveat is that those with allergies or sensitivities may find the place a little triggering.

I hesitate to give this 5 stars only because I want to keep it to myself for future visits!! The cabin was very comfortable and cozy and all of the outdoor spaces were fantastic. Coffee on the deck or swing in the mornings and dinner on the deck or picnic table was wonderful! George is an amazing host providing great hospitality and readily available if/when questions arise.The bed was VERY comfortable, kitchen well stocked for meals if desired and a grocery store 10 mins away. The location is at the top of a winding hill road giving a sense of remote living yet so close to downtown and airport — perfect!! Such a peaceful place with room to be outside and comfortable if desired. Loved the swing for coffee in the am with all the critters.Thanks, George, for such a delightful stay! Say hi to the bears for us!!
