About this cabin rental
Enjoy your stay at this private mountain cabin located in the Arrowhead community off Hwy 50. This cabin is located in close proximity to national forest land. Activities in this area include: hiking, hunting, trout fishing, wildlife viewing, skiing, snowmobiling, ATV/UTV riding, and many more... Please feel free to call us with any questions you may have. The cabin is well stocked with linens/towels/kitchen supplies. There is a full sized bed in each of the 2 downstairs bedrooms, and the loft area houses one king, one queen, and two twin beds. A gas grill is located on the porch. The kitchen is equipped with stove/oven, mixer,blender, coffee maker, garbage disposal, and microwave. The living room has Dish network TV, DVD player, CD player, board games, and a few dvd's. There is a fire pit located outside with plenty of wood for burning. The most amazing cabin in the woods experience. The cabin was beautiful and nicely decorated, no excessive decor. All the comforts you could need. We brought supplies, but if you missed something- this cabin was stocked. This was the cleanest VRBO I have ever stayed at, and I’ve been a member of VRBO since 2017. I would absolutely recommend this house and location. 10/10!

The cabin was clean and well stocked with essentials, the setting and solitude was perfect. There was a high fire risk so we didn’t get to use the fire pit, the neighbors weren’t close and it was very peaceful with deer in the yard early mornings and the chipmunks were delightful. Nice place to eat just down the road. The location is near the Black Canyon, Montrose, Blue Mesa Reservoir, Gunnison and Crested Butte. Next time we would like to stay longer bring our grands and the side by side for further exploration and fishing hopefully no fire ban. The loft has a king, a queen and 2 twin beds with two bedrooms (double beds) down stairs so the cabin really does sleep 10 it’s a great place with great hosts.

We enjoyed the space and accommodations this cabin provided. We were not aware of the lack of WiFi before arriving even tho we specifically asked for information about it. We had plans to visit Black Canyon and hike around this area, making plans based on distance/weather while at the cabin but were unable to access any information on our phones which left us very frustrated. No heads up about road construction either which left us traveling on a treacherous back winding dirt road that really needed a sport utility vehicle to maneuver. It was very scary!
