A perfect place to celebrate our anniversary! The cottage has a magnificent view of Lake Mitchell, so even if the weather is not great, you can still enjoy the beautiful scenery. Check-in was easy, and Bailey was very responsive to communications. Everything was clean and the beds are very comfortable. We hope to be back soon!

My husband and I were searching for a relaxing, lakefront place. This location was perfect. We were able to spend mornings quietly sipping our coffee, staring at the lake or reading our novels. The cabin had ample resources, including spices, dishes, pans and extra blankets. We even enjoyed watching a group of baby ducks swim by almost daily. We took day trips to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Glen Arbor and Traverse City. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby. Recommend this place.

The house is nice for an older place. It is not wheelchair accessible as listed. There is not a playground and very, very little grass for a child to play. The docks weren't in yet (I understand its early and that's fine) but they were up on the patio. The picture shows a nice patio with fire pit to sit around, that wasn't there as the docks were in the way. Parking is very small (as listed it says 2 cars, which is accurate) but a truck doesn't fit well at all. The top bunk bed wasn't even made but the sheets and blanket were up there if we wanted to make it. There wasn't a ladder to climb up to the top bunk. The end of the bed was not designed to be the ladder. Please do not list as wheelchair accessible as it is not. You are not able to get a wheelchair in the house and the bathroom is not handicap accessible. The view of the lake is beautiful and open.
