About this cabin rental
beautiful private cabin on 6 acres near forks, wa. access to property behind locked gate. 2 bedrooms ( 1 bedroom -queen bed, 2nd bedroom- queen bed and 2 sets of large bunks that can accomadate adults), pets ok with a deposit. cabin sits right on the river and there is no other place in area like it. satelite tv, grille, fully stocked kitchen with utensils , pots & pans ect.) washer and dryer available if needed .great fishing on the river and short travel to forks,wa, the beaches of lapush. wa, and hoh rain forest. great fishing hole just 20 yds from the porch. check out video from porch

The property only gets 5 stars because 6 is not an option. This is the most beautiful, natural setting and wildlife is everywhere. The cabin is much bigger that we expected and everything we needed was already there and easy to find. Todd the host is awesome, he even helped with some restaurant recommendations in the area. We used the cabin as a base to explore and hike Olympic National Park, so I cannot speak to the fishing in the river at the cabin...but the ducks and otters love the water so the fish must be there somewhere. It is super quite and dark at night which is amazing if you want a calm outdoor fire to end a day. The beds are all memory foam and sleep incredibly well. The shelves full of cards and games are great fun since the cell coverage/internet are basically zero inside the house (which is great for kids on vacation), but if you rest you phone in the window texts will work without issue; outside on the deck cell coverage is fine. If you want a Ritz-Carlton of the North, this is not your spot. If you are looking for a cabin in the forest, with abundant wildlife and time with family/friends then this is absolutely the place you have been searching for.

This is the perfect getaway place. So relaxing, right on the river. Just look out the window to fabulous views. The meadow had elk, the river was so clear and we floated with rafts. As advertised and more! Fire pit and plenty of wood, rope swing, fishing supplies, and it was well stocked with kitchen supplies. Not much cell reception, which was a positive to just unplug in such a quiet location. Plenty of sleeping areas for all too. We loved taking daily walks up and down the nicely kept up driveway, and the dogs loved running around and exploring the property. Can't wait to go back!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! The view of the river was incredible and the area was very private. The cabin was well stocked with household essentials and fishing gear. We hope to return in the future!

The cabin is situated on an absolutely beautiful property. It sits very close to the Solduc River. Gorgeous scenery, lots of wildlife. Not too far from Forks - about 20 minutes and about 1.5 hours to Cape Flattery. The cabin is an old cabin but has all of the needed appliances (fridge, w/d, stove, etc.) It does not have air conditioning but it seems to stay cool enough (outdoor temp was in the 80s when we stayed there). The only complaint i have is that it wasnt very clean. The high touch surfaces like kitchen countertops, bathroom tub and sink were clean. However, areas like behind the toilet, walls, bathroom fan, etc. could use a good scrubbing. And, think twice about stayng here if you have a fear of spiders lol. We rescued a few and put them outisde but there are many spiders and spider webs in this cabin. Communication with the owners was very pleasant and they responded quickly to texts. Be aware there is no cell service or internet provided either as stated in the property information. This was a bigger inconvenience than i thought as there was no way to check out area attractions and make plans for the next day. The closest cell service was back on the highway at least 10-15 miles away - almost into Forks.
