About this house rental
Please Read Before Booking**
This is a vintage lake cottage, not a modern or newly built home. It has been lovingly cared for and thoughtfully styled, but it does show the character and quirks that come with age.
Guests may notice things like:
• uneven floors or surfaces
• creaky boards
• a unique, non-symmetrical layout
• older construction details that reflect the home’s history
These features are part of the cottage’s charm and are typical of homes from this era. If you’re looking for sleek finishes, perfect lines, or hotel-style accommodations, this may not be the best fit — and we want you to find a place you’ll truly enjoy.
If, however, you appreciate warmth, comfort, and a home that feels lived-in and welcoming, many guests find this cottage to be a peaceful and memorable retreat.

This was our 3rd stay at this cozy lakefront home. It is comfortable and affordable. The neighbors are very friendly and the host is responsive and courteous. The home is pet friendly, which is always something we look for in a rental, as my mom travels with her small dog. The screened-in porch on the back is great, especially with all the biting insects from the lake (it's a wonderful place to sit during the rain!) I recommend this home for any family trip or a get-together with friends. There is room for everyone! Thank you, Amy, for another memorable family vacation.
