Gurung, the owner, was incredibly kind and helpful! He gave me great advice about hiking and was always happy to answer any questions. The rest of the staff were also super friendly and welcoming. Everything was clean, and the place offers amazing value for money. The food at the small restaurant was really tasty too!
The only things I missed were some cozy areas to relax and hang out, like hammocks or a little chill-out space. Also, the mattress was a bit too hard for my personal preference. Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay!

Very good location in a more quiet neighborhood (for Katmandu). Lots of local shops and restaurants to experience Nepali food and culture. Its also a very short to the Thamel area.
The staff was really helpful and easy going.
Western toilets!
For the price paid for a shared dorm this was expected. You wouldn't have this problem with a private room. The dorm is a bit small and crowded and there is noise from the restaurant area late at night.
