About this cabin rental
For the months of July and August, rentals will have a minimum night stay of 6 nights Check-in will be Sunday after 3pm EST and check-out will be Saturday 11am EST.
Question: Can I rent the cabin for only 3 nights?
Answer: Yes, but you will pay the 6 night rental fee.

With three bedrooms, a sofa bed, and an enclosed porch with additional sleeping for that someone looking for added adventure, all your favorite people can be comfortably under one roof. The cabin has private access to the lake and a dock for which you can tie your watercraft after a fun day on the lake. Or, if you wish, you need never leave land and read a book of your choice under the shade of one of the many trees on the property. This location is great for those wanting to use it a a base for hunting the vast areas around, as well, a charming place for friends and family to gather for much needed quality time.

We rented the cabin with some friends for July 13, 2026 to July 17, 2026, We found the cabin very clean and well stocked with just about anything you could need (coffee pots, crockpots, pots and pans, dishes, blender, bread maker, griddles, baking pans/dishes, towels, life jackets, several chairs for outside, floaties for the water...). There is no AC; however, they do provide several fans so sleeping was still very comfortable. There is a gas grill w/propane tank along with a charcoal grill, we went to use the charcoal grill one night and found that the grate was broken, I messaged the owner just to let him know and the next day the care taker came with two brand new grates. We did some fishing off the dock and caught some small mouth bass. The fire pit area is very nice and wood is provided, although it was hot our first few days so we never had a fire. Unfortunately Wednesday morning the smoke from the wildfires started rolling in and was so bad by Wednesday evening that we ended up leaving a day early, which the owner refunded us one night for which was not requested by us, but very appreciated. If we were to stay in MI again we would definitely come back to this cabin, we couldn't ask for a more relaxing place with very attentive owners.

Excellent place to stay for our fishing trip. Very roomy and comfortable. House was very clean and well supplied. Convenient location. Ample parking for two vehicles and 18 foot fishing boat. I would highly recommend this property.

Old but clean...plenty of room....great view of lake...67 steps to the lake no problem going down but I am 82 going up was a bit hard...all in all nice place....One think and its no bigge ...when we left we really did not know how they wanted us to leave the place...we cleaned it up towels in basket all food gone...but did not take sheets off bed...he should leave instruction on what he wants done I hope we left it ok....thanks...
