Polite, friendly staff. The food was good. Everything was run on time. Lovely bonus of room turndowns.

We werena family booking and although we booked 10 months in advance we were put on opposite ends of the resort to eachother and nobody could do anything because apparently the booking get done in Durban. I messaged the office about this and at the time of doing this review I have still have had a response. Also, my nieces food allergies weren't catered for...but they are fruit based so not the end of the world and no harm caused.

Exceptional park and especially sand forest and elephants. Genuine kindness and helpfulness of staff.

Facilities and accommodation are pretty basic - but very clean and well kept by staff - and what you expect.

We had a short stay at Tembe and really enjoyed it. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, the staff were friendly and helpful, and it felt like a proper nature lodge rather than a busy resort. Everything was well organised and comfortable for the few days we were there. Easy place to unwind and explore from. We’d happily come back and would recommend it. Special thanks to Vusi for making the game drives memorable.
