About this chalet rental
Small wooden cottage-style house on a fenced-in, private lot of 300 m² (1 bedroom with a double bed + 1 loft with 3 single beds). Above ground (depth 0.70 m, diameter 50 m³), ideal for children. Wi-Fi internet access. Gange is nearby (2 km) with shops and a large market on Fridays. Located at the foot of the Cévennes mountain range, between the sea (50 km) and the mountains (20 km). Many outdoor activities.

Wonderful little house surrounded by trees and bushes, so it and it's little garden is well sheltered from peeking eyes and the sun. The owner, Mireille, was a wonderful host. She did not disturb in any way and was friendly and easy to reach when needed. We did not expect to much of the little pool, but our children (9, 7 and 5 years) actually had hours and hours of fun in it. The river was also absolutely astounding and we went swimming in it almost every day. You have to have good nerves for parking along the narrow mountain road, though (like the locals). Grotte des Demoiselle is also a breathtaking experience. Walking to the town was not difficult. The many mosquitos were a bother, and the air-conditioning struggled a little to keep up, but that is probably unavoidable in a wood hut in July. All-in-all a marvelous stay

Venant de Paris, nous avons réservé le chalet pour le w-e de la Pentecôte durant lequel nous étions invités à une cérémonie familiale dans le village. C'est en cherchant un hôtel dans le coin sur le Net que nous avons été séduits par l'annonce et nous l'affirmons, nous y avons été bien mieux qu'à l'hôtel !! Les propriétaires sont trés sympas, le chalet est tout mignon et fonctionnel, la piscine a fait la joie des petits et grands, le confort intérieur comme extérieur est y entier !! La maitresse de maison a pensé à tout : le fer à repasser est bien utile quand on vient pour une cérémonie et que la petite robe en lin n'a pas supporté les 8 heures de route dans la valise !! L'endroit est calme (il y a longtemps que je n'avais pas fait de nuits comme celles-ci ), et les environs ne manquent pas d'occupations (ballades, baignades, visites de grottes, ...) même si en l'occurence nous venions pour une autre raison. Bref nous avons passé un excellent w-e. Un seul regret : ne pas être restés plus longtemps.
