Spend your holiday in beautiful Périgord where primeval heritage sites, medieval walled towns and the various wine-growing area are to discover Bergerac. On the property with beautiful French ambience amidst nature is waiting for you a terrace overlooking lawn, fountain and forest, where deer and other animals approach in the dusk. In the bedroom you rest in an elegant French double bed, the newly designed bathroom has a walk-in shower, hair dryer and washing machine, and the Salon offers a fully equipped kitchenette with all necessary electrical appliances, a chic sofa bed (for one or two children) and a cozy cast-iron wood burning stove for cooler days. Your parking lot is next to the house. Your dog is also welcome!
Visit the romantic castles nearby and make wine tastings in the wineries of Bergerac, look at the birds on their train to the south, take part in a cooking class with the specialties of porcini region, truffles, duck and chestnut or wander over the typical antique markets of Périgord. Other activities nearby are horse riding, canoeing, gliding, cycling, tennis, hiking and swimming.

Streamlined check in with excellent instructions on how to find the property and the access arrangements- stress free- Heidi and Paul have been superb hosts attending to and answering any question promptly. Very quiet location with a lovely view over the field. Yet within easy access to all the areas we wished to visit. Very restful.

We had a wonderful stay in this pretty gite. Perfect for two people with a private outdoor space and a gorgeous view. It had everything we needed and was in a perfect location to visit the beautiful Dordogne region.

The property is in a gorgeous location. Its at the end or a lane. The view from the patio is lovely. The Gite is fairly well equipped , but a microwave would definitely be an asset. After a few days our bins were getting full, but ther were no spare ones in our accommodation. There was no clock on the wall, and in the bathroom no air freshener of any description. However, the shower was excellent. Hiede was very pleasant, and was always at hand if we needed any advice. The TV was adequate for the size of the room and was a smart TV. However, if you wanted to watch anything in English, that was only possible because they had Prime Video.
