I went to Spain for a wedding. and to see family, in Competa and Al Campanario was less than a minute walk to the Church! I had a 5 night stay at the B&B. It was really close to a main square with restaurants and a few shops. The house had been beautifully renovated, whilst retaining its character - eg original tiles. The breakfast was lovely - fresh fruit, yoghurt, local bread, cheeses and meat, and I also had scrambled egg every morning....and I could have as many coffees as I wanted at breakfast time. There was an honesty bar in the breakfast room; so wine or soft drinks could be purchased in-house. The room comprised 2 rooms with sitting area, shower and toilet in one part - and bedroom in the other.
The owner/host and his family were welcoming and looked after keeping rooms clean, etc, and checking I was/guests were ok. I'd definitely recommend it to travellers going to Competa.
There was a TV in every guest room - but it would only work with Netflix (and I don't have an account). The stairs were steep .... good exercise, but to take into consideration if mobility is difficult. The door to my room only had one original key (250 year old house). Whereas I was travelling solo - the toilet for this 2-room area, did not have a door - just a semi height wall on one side. So I would recommend people booking this b&b discuss with the owners about the layout for shower/toilet in their room(s).

The hosts are the best! The breakfast was amazing! This is a renovated Andalusian white house near to the main square. Absolutely charming. Highly recommended.
The only thing that was not great was the kind of open toilet in the room. If you have difficulties going up and down stairs, this is not for you.
