About this house rental
This charming historic home, built in 1874, is set in a flower-filled garden surrounded by romantic plants such as roses and clematis. It underwent extensive modernization in 2008 using high-quality natural materials and was transformed into an exclusive vacation home, bathed in light and featuring a spacious atmosphere. All rooms, including the bathrooms, are threshold-free and located on one level on the first floor. The cream- and white-colored antique country-style furniture in the dining room and living room creates a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The spacious kitchen, which opens onto the dining room, features modern brand-name appliances (e.g., an AEG cooktop and oven) as well as a highly efficient range hood. Enjoy cooking without any lingering odors. A stove with a large glass panel in the living room provides a sense of security and comfort, complementing the central heating—especially during the colder months. In the garden, you can relax on comfortable seating and lounge chairs on one of the terraces or on the lawn.
Directions: Coming from the town of Usedom, take the B110 toward Ahlbeck. After about 2 km, turn left onto a quiet, well-signposted country road toward Warthe / Lieper Winkel.
This road (K 34 on navigation systems) runs parallel to the Peenestrom and takes you about 10 km through the forest, past charming little villages and along beautiful tree-lined avenues, always following the main road at a leisurely pace (sharp S-curves in Suckow and Liepe!) to Warthe.
Turn right at the entrance sign and drive about 100 m along the paved road that curves to the left. Now you’re there: on the right is a small birch grove, and on the left you’ll see the navy-blue vacation home surrounded by flowers behind an old adobe barn.

wir haben uns in diesem lichtdurchfluteten Häuschen mit dem hübschen Garten sehr wohl gefühlt. Nachts sind die schnaufenden Igel zu hören, morgens die Hühner und ab und zu nochmal ein Hund.
Sehr gut zum Ausspannen.

Abseits von Hektik, inmitten von viel Natur haben wir die Urlaubswoche sehr genossen und uns wunderbar erholt.

Wer die Ruhe abseits der Seebäder sucht, ist im Lieper Winkel gut aufgehoben. Wir haben es sehr genossen, immer wieder in diese Oase zurückzukehren. Gleichzeitig findet man, wenn man sich erst einmal orientiert hat, Vieles vor Ort: Bewohner bieten vor ihren Haustüren leckere Marmelade, Honig, Eier... an. Bei Ela kann man sich u.a. mit Brötchen und Kuchen versorgen. Und der Supermarkt in Rankwitz ist nicht weit und bietet ein Vollsortiment. Auch das Restaurant am dortigen Hafen können wir empfehlen. Fahrräder konnten wir aus der Nachbarschaft des Ferienhauses ausleihen. Das Haus ist wirklich gut ausgestattet und geschmackvoll gestaltet, der Garten liebevoll angelegt. Die Vermieter sind freundlich-zuvorkommend-sympathisch.
