Good hotel in a central location by the river + main mosque. Looks historic outside, but the rooms are completely modern with no historic touch. The staff is very nice and helped our taxi driver from another city recover his forgotten jacket+id. The outside street+mosque noise was muffled enough to not bother us, a party dinner inside the hotel was more of a nuisance though fortunately didn't run beyond 11pm.
Much smoking inside the hotel, including in the admin office -- all our clothes and bags smelled of it after only one night even though we kept our room door closed.
