Nice!

The setting was calm.

We only had 1 set of keys and badges to get in/out of the gates to the community. The Guardians were reluctant to help and often rude. Why was the pool off limits for swimming?

Very Run Down, Doesn't Look anything like the photos, photos possibly around 20 years old at least.

We booked this apartment for a family of 4 with 2 older children. We stayed for 2 weeks. This is not a luxury apartment, it Is an apartment yes and its location within the marina complex is probably the only thing that it has going for it. We had updated booking.com before arriving to say check in was between 9pm – 10pm on our arrival day, from arriving in Agadir none of us had internet on our phones, we were waiting to use the apartment wifi. Apartment was very difficult to find as we weren’t given a flat number (we didn’t know we’d need one) we arrived at 9.40 and luckily a security guard who spoke English was able to call the host and find out where we were to go, host said that he had sent us a message through booking.com to ask that we give him 30 minutes notice we explained that we had no access to internet he said we would need to sit and wait for him, we waited 20 minutes. While showing us around the host said that the birds droppings can be a problem but if we need it cleaned to contact him and he would send a cleaner, by the next morning we knew what he meant. I had read the reviews about the birds mess but didn’t think it was that bad, within 3-4 hours of It being cleaned it was totally covered again every part of the patio. It seemed to be different to the rest of the apartments, I don’t know if theres nests up above. When I text host to arrange cleaning he was happy to do that, but he told us the time and we had to wait in the next day to let the cleaner in, we decided to clean it ourselves the rest of the time as it was too difficult to work around texting host and waiting for cleaners and we cleaned it morning and night twice a day and it was still too dirty to sit out in the patio, too dirty for us to walk out to the pool and back. Grass around patio was so over grown it looks like it hasn’t been cut in years horrible to walk over after going to the pool. The patio furniture was so worn that it couldn’t be used so we had no way to sit outside

All décor in the apartment is very worn, most of the walls and ceilings had stains on them, most of the paintwork, wardrobes ect are all chipped, none of the rooms look anything like the photos on the advert. the kitchen appliances worked but were very dated, the air con in the living room works but trips the electricity every time its turned on so we didn’t use it at all, the air con in the main bedroom turned on but didn’t blow out cold air, the only air con that worked was in the kids bedroom but it leaked water out of it. Rooms were very warm especially at night as the patio doors cant be opened. Washing machine worked ok but theres no dryer and the hanging rack outside collapses if you put anything on it. There was cockroaches everywhere, the size of them unreal, usually about 5/6 a day and the flys and ants were everywhere. The main bedroom the bed feels like its broken in the middle. The 2 bathrooms are horrendous, the ceilings look like they have had a bad plastering job with extractor fans hanging off. Theres no windows in either and the extractor fans don’t work they sound like they are on but they don’t work, the steam is un-real you need to open the doors when having a shower. Wifi doesn’t work in main bedroom Half way through our holiday we came back after dinner one day to find scaffolding, wood and ropes hanging from the ceiling, inside the patio and wet black gloss paint every where, we sent the host photos assuming he didn’t know about it. He replied back to say that he was there at the time, he hadn’t told us at any point that there would be construction work and to find out that he was there at the time and left it like that knowing there was kids staying there is absolutely incredible. The host seemed surprised about all of it but I don’t think he realises that it was up to him to inform us before the works or at least while he was there he could have dropped a text to say theres work being carried out. Theres no wifi in bedroom
