Cezanne is one of three luxury holiday apartments at Maison Pierre D’Or, a traditional stone house on the edge of the medieval centre of Sarlat in the stunning Perigord Noir region of Dordogne in South West France.
Cezanne is the perfect base from which to explore the town and the surrounding countryside. It’s ideal for couples, and is within an easy 10 minute stroll into the medieval centre with its lively markets, bistros, picturesque squares and historic buildings.
The apartment faces south and is consequently bright and sunny. It has an inviting balcony which is very popular with guests who frequently take breakfast or lunch or an aperitif in the sunshine whilst enjoying the open view over Sarlat.
Attention has been paid to the details. The apartment has been furnished with oak furniture. There are quirky lamps and paintings by local artists, and a host of other personal touches, giving Cezanne its own unique character. The apartment has a bright, airy living room with a dining area and a well equipped kitchenette. The bedroom has an exceptionally comfortable king size bed with fresh, crisp, cotton bedlinen and soft pillows. The bathroom has a walk in shower with hot water on tap and big, fluffy towels.
Oh, and there is free parking on site, and free WiFi (free high-speed Internet).

Our stay at Cezanne in Sarlat for 4 nights was very pleasant. As soon as we walked through the door, we felt so welcomed, we could tell that our hosts, Maggie and Ahm, have made real effort for us to feel comfortable.Everything you need is provided with excellent care, beautiful rooms and relaxing balcony. Everything was thoughtfully presented. Lovely garden too. The air-conditioning was a bonus as it was around 40 degrees every day. Short walks to the centre, Carrefour the small convenient store also Carrefour the large supermarket. Convenience of having parking at the apartment. Highly recommended.

The apartment "Cézanne" is beautifully furnished and has all the details (and more) to feel truly "at home away from home". Very good bed and lots of store room in the bedroom (one can hear some noise from the street), great shower and a comfortable living room. The kitchen is well equipped.
It is very nice to come "home" to a cosy apartment after a long day of exploring the beautiful Perigord.
The owners, Maggie and Ahm are exceptional host, very helpful and friendly. They made me feel welcome from the first minute.
Booking was easy with very good and speedy reply from Maggie.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Maison Pierre d'Or and hope to return.
