Alessandro’s apartment is on the top floor of marina facing apartment . The view is perfect and there’s always something to see from this slightly dizzying vantage point! Fishing boats unloading, fancy yachts mooring and just general people watching. The location is perfect, some great bars and restaurants available literally on the door step. Not good for mobility issues as many flights of stairs but fine for us.WiFi is excellent (my husband had to do some video calls)The apartment had everything thing you needed. From the apartment we walked to portofino,(1hr or so) the train station is 15 mins walk from there you can easily go to camogli and Monterosso for a fabulous walk to vernassa, spent a lovely day on paraggi beach and took the ferry to San fruttuosso beach. An excellent base on the Italian riviera.Alessandro was a super host, easy to communicate with and was very helpful for recommendations.

This apartment was in the heart of the city and you could close the shutters for noise during the night. It had a washing machine that worked great and lots of space. The mattress and bedding needs to be replaced, as does the air condition unit in the bedroom because it is very noisy at night. The bathroom was a challenge, as the shower was very small, dated and water would be everywhere after you showered. The host was very responsive and gave us some great restaurant ideas.
