The apartment:
This 1st floor apartment in Sitges with lift (although there is a flight of 7 steps to access it) provides the perfect accommodation for a group of up to 4 guests in 60mts indoor space.
The luminous living room has a sofa, a table and chairs for indoor dinning and also a large flat screen TV with Spanish digital channels. The apartment also offers fiber optic free internet access for our guests convenience.
Floor to ceiling windows flood the room with the Mediterranean sunlight. Double sliding doors give access to a wonderful terracethat has the sun all day. There is a outdoor table and chairs and spectacular views over the church, the beach and the blue sea. This is a wonderful spot for al fresco dining, enjoying a glass of local fresh wine, a morning coffee or just relaxing while enjoying the fantastic views.
The RIBERA SOL apartment has a AC unit in the living room and anotherin the double bedroom. As it is a fairly compact apartment, it is enough to cool the whole house.
Since car traffic is restricted in this area, the sounds that our guests are most likely to hear from the terrace are the waves breaking on the beach or the bells from the church.
The independent kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need to enjoy your self-catering stay.
The apartment comprises two bedrooms (one with a double bed 150x200cm and the other one with a bunk bed 90x200cm) and a full bathroom with basin, WC and shower.
We also manage the apartment called RIBERA MOON, in the same building so, booking both properties together we can accommodate up to 6 guests.

The RIBERA SOL apartment is ideally located right on the famous “Passeig de la Ribera”, a beautiful palm tree promenade, and just in the heart of Sitges.
This beach front apartment offers unbeatable views of the church, the golden sandy beaches and the Mediterranean. There are just a few meters between the apartment and the sea.
The charming old quarter of Sitges with all its little picturesque streets and beautiful shops is right behind the apartment. Some of the best restaurants in Sitges are also right by your front door.

The local tourist tax is NOT included in the price. The cost of this tax is 1,75€ (VAT not included) per person over 16 years of age per night, for a maximum of 7 nights. This amount is payable to your greeter upon arrival at the property.
As per Catalonian regulations, all property guests must register by providing full name, passport details, and address. You can share this information before arrival or on check-in day. All guests must present identification documents and will need to sign the tourist rental agreement. Thank you for your cooperation.
Any check-in or check-out between 9pm and 9am has an extra cost of 40€.
Damage deposit collected by credit card on your arrival date (unless otherwise agreed in advance) to entitle us to charge you up to 300€ in the unlikely event of finding any issue when we visit the property after your check out.

Upon arriving, we found the unit to be very secure and clean. Air conditioning was in great working order as well. Bath towels were very smelly and some were bath floor mats (intended for bodies!) but we contacted the host and the towels were immediately changed out. The kitchen had proper and adequate cooking equipment and utensils and the grocery store was a less than 10 minute walk. There was a kettle, microwave, range, Nespresso machine, toaster and washing machine. The bathroom was good but the shower is VERY small and someone of medium to large size would have a hard time showering, most definitely! The location was ideal, being right across from the beach and promenade walkway. The town shops and cafes were a 5 minute walk and were very charming and had everything we needed. It was not noisy at night and all of the neighbors were quiet. Just important to note: --Trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels and tissues are NOT provided. But sheets and towels were provided.--It was very unlikely that anyone would want to sleep on the living room futon sofa because it is VERY hard and unforgiving. Would not recommend that as a sleeping accommodation. --Pleasantly surprised to find beach umbrellas and chairs in the bedroom closet!

Our stay in Sitges had its ups and downs. The location of the apartment was lovely, but the ongoing renovations in the building with visible debris were a noticeable disruption, with dusty common areas and unexpected entries into our apartment. Additionally, dealing with small ants throughout the unit was less than ideal.
Regrettably, these issues led us to cut our stay short, leaving a day earlier than planned and paid. While the unit was pretty much like the pictures, there were very minor deviations, such as different balcony cushions, which was not a problem. As such, we can only rate our experience as 3 out of 5 stars. We hope the host addresses these concerns for the comfort of future guests.
