About this cottage rental
Seacroft is nestled at the mouth of Nostie Burn on the shores of Lochalsh. It is an ideal location and base for exploring all the delights of Wester Ross. Only 6 miles from the railway station of Kyle where there are ample shops and supermarkets as well as banks and the local swimming pool. From Kyle you can take the Skye Bridge over to the Isle of Skye and with lovely views of the majestic Cuillen Hills. The seaside village of Plockton is only a few miles further on with its palm trees and roving highland cattle. The Plockton Hotel is always very popular. Also we are only 2.5 miles from the famous Eilean Donan Castle at Dornie. From there you can travel up the length of Loch Duich and then take the old Military road over to Glenelg.
The views and tranquillity of the shores of Lochalsh are breathtaking and there are endless opportunities for all sorts of outdoor pursuits including hill walking, horse riding, bird watching, mountain biking and many more.

The cottage was amazing, it by passed all our expectations. The living area was perfect for all of us and the rooms were perfect, 3 rooms had their own bathrooms and then another bathroom beside the other bedroom. It was perfect for all 8 of us. It was the perfect location to really get to anywhere. The property was so peaceful and relaxing and the water was right outside your door. Did not want to leave at all. Constance was so easy to get in touch with if we had any questions. My extended family that came with us that live in England are already talking about coming back up. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you for having us.

Lovely quiet location by the water’s edge and handy for Plockton and the Kyle, though still quite a way to get into the middle Skye itself.
The property was a little dated, but had good facilities and a garden leading down to the water.
All was fine, though parts of the kitchen need a good clean particularly the oven and the cooker hood which was particularly bad, but we cleaned it as best as we could. Overall is was fine for what we needed.
