We arrived very very late by taxi from Chennai, four hours in a storm due to Indigo's total incompetence as an airline. We were welcomed immediately into a lovely room in what is a really amazing place, once a large generational home. Jacky our hostess, totally charming, speaks several languages, very at ease and very informative. Sadly I did not like Pondicherry at all, way way too dirty despite me having travelled to other towns in India. The breakfast was really good and fresh and the personel charming. Easy to find and walkable most places.
I cannot fault the hotel but the town was a total mess, recent storms didn't help but the incessant piles of rubble and scooters on the pavement meant we had to walk on the road and try to avoid cars.

We loved our stay. The property is beautiful, room are nice and comfortable. The hosts are very kind and helpful. The staff are very polite, caring and thoughtful. They did everything in their hands to make our stay pleasant. The location is also prime, just in the heart of white town. We would definitely visit again. I big thank you to the host and the staff.
