Jaca Hostel in Porto da Cruz was an absolute dream - I travelled solo and had considered this place to be more of a pitstop, but it was so nice to be in such a warm, homely place, with such lovely people!

Was really easy to find, well labelled, close to the sea and good food stops. Staff were so lovely and welcoming, place was a good vibe, felt very homely

Everything! The workers were SO kind. Quincy and Kevin ( I believe ) were the best. So warm and welcoming and I felt like I had been there for ages from the moment I walked in. The bed was so comfortable, the view was immense from the back of the hostel and the facilities were fabulous as well. The people who stayed were incredible as well. Places to eat around the area , walks and gorgeous views around the area truly cannot complain. Thank you so much guys 🩷

Was nice, the room was clean and good for us.
The room was too warm and no fan or air conditioning which forced us to keep the window open and the noise from the restaurant next door and the people on the street were very loud until around 12:00, if they had a fan in the room the problem would be solved.
