The Black Bull Inn

The location was perfect for our needs. The staff were outstanding and the room spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was enormous with a large shower room.

Accessing the rear car park was a challenge. It's up a narrow alleyway with access from the narrow Main Street. But there's a public car park only yards away so it was no big issue.

Great room, lovely staff in a fabulous location

Really comfortable beds and good sized rooms with a great Yorkshire pub restaurant downstairs.

Very nice - comfortable and luxurious, big shower, comfy bed, everything you could hope for. Friendly staff Very good beer selection

Breakfast not included

Rooms have a modern style. Lovely sweeping staircase. Main bar and restaurant are lovely.

Despite modern styling rooms are actually quite basic and not particularly clean or well maintained. Our room had a leaking door to the balcony and a very dusty and wonky main light fittings. Not a great problem, but for the price and advertised premium style of the BB we expected more. The hallway leading to the room was rather run down with an untidy area with a chair and table that seeemed out of place with a premium hotel. Check in was a little strange with the barman rather busy with Sunday lunch service and no where obvious to check in.
