About this house rental
Our cottage home is a family-oriented, non-smoking, 3 bedroom, 2 full bath ranch style home built in 2000. It will sleep 6 comfortably with a king sized bed in the master bedroom, a queen sized bed in second bedroom, 2 twin beds in the third bedroom. The living spaces include a large living room, dining room with a dining table that seats 6, a full service kitchen, a den and a large 12' x 40' screened in back porch with ample seating for conversation and a large table that seats up to 10. We are located on a quiet street 1.3 miles east of the ferry dock.
The driveway will hold two trucks plus boat trailers side by side. We have many amenities to ensure a happy, relaxing vacation at a home you will want to return to year after year!
* Must be 25 years of age to register. Sorry, no pets. We are unable to accommodate bachelor or bachelorette parties.

This Kelley's Island home was a nice, clean place to replace and unwind. The screened in porch was peaceful and had a nice view of a bird house and hummingbird feeder. Plenty of birds and butterflies to watch. We biked around the entire island and checked out the main beach and Pebbles beach. But the small stone slab beach at the end of the road the house is on was the best, and most clean, least crowded. We planned to go our last day, but the wildfire smoke from Canada made us stay indoors. This is a lovely home for fishermen, families, and couples that want peace and quiet. The kitchen is well stocked with basic tools and spices. The coffee nook was cute and useful. The kids room has ample games and puzzles in the closer. The ceiling fans and AC kept the house cool even in high heat. We highly recommend this property for those that want to get away and have beach access without the cost of renting a house right on the water. The only downside is the steep path to the beach from the road. It's not for everyone, but if you are fit, it would be easy to use.

We throughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. The house was just the right size for all us and the location was great for all the things we did. The screened in porch was the highlight of our trip as we spent our evenings hanging out there enjoying the summer weather.Would definitely recommend.

Quiet and private. Clean and everything is there except your food. Very roomy. If I had complain about anything it would be the gas grille, time for a new one. I'd stay there again. It's a good place to eat and sleep, or to stay there all day and night without leaving!

Overall, my family and I enjoyed our trip to Kelly’s Island! Here are the Pros and Cons we found at this particular VRBO:
Pros:
- showers/toilets and beds were clean
- back porch was an amazing place to relax
- plenty of parking
- quiet street
- yard was nicely kept
- fire ring area was a nice feature
- although we didn’t read or play any games, it’s nice they offered plenty of books and games
- appreciated the recommendations of places to see on the island
Cons:
-diningware was dirty (some of which had been put away in the cupboard dirty)
- crumbs on the seats (couches/armchairs and dining chairs)
- floors were not swept/vacuumed
- the soaking tub had some sort of drip stains, we didn’t feel comfortable using it
- tables, counters, and fridge were sticky and dirty; we ended up wiping down most of the kitchen to feel comfortable
- coffee machine was covered in grease and had old grounds
- wood pile was not as advertised in the pictures (almost all the wood was gone and what was left was covered by brush and some poison ivy)
- some of my family members felt the beds were uncomfortable
